Product Name:Chromium carbide
Detail Instruction:Grey metal powder, rhombic crystal structure, water insoluble, anti-acid and alkali. Density: 6.65～6.68g／CM3, melting point: 1890℃boiling point：3800℃. It is a kind of high melting point inorganic materials of good resistance to abrasion, resistance to corrosion and resistance to oxidation under high temperature (1000～1100℃）, therefore, it is used in thermal spraying material for protecting metal surface and in grain refiner of hard alloy and abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance elements. The Cr3C2-base metal ceramic has extremely excellent oxidation resistance under high temperature, its surface will be only slightly darkened after exposed under 982℃ for five hours. While under the same condition, 18-8 type stainless steel will be apparently damaged, and WC-6Co alloy will be completely oxidized.
